Upcoming webinar: Cancer Screening for People with Learning Disabilities

Cancer screening can refer to a wide variety of tests that look for risk factors of cancer and try to identify cancers early. Join us at 12:30pm on 11 September for a webinar explaining different types of cancer screening and signposting resources that make these programmes more accessible for people with learning disabilities.

Julie Tucker from The North East and Cumbria Learning Disability Network will share her expertise supporting people with learning disabilities to access cancer screening at the same rate as the general population. We will also hear from people with learning disabilities about their experiences with cancer screening.
