International Positive Behaviour Support Conference 2025
Foundations for Change: Building Capacity and Putting it into Practice
This year’s International PBS Conference will take place on 13-14 May in Newcastle and online. You can find out more and book your tickets here.
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) helps those providing support to better understand the person they support and meet their individual needs. It involves making systems work for the person, often changing the way in which a person is supported.
By building the foundations for change, we can move PBS forward together. This year’s conference will explore how we can identify opportunities to drive systems change, increase capacity and improve support to enhance people’s quality of life.
This two-day event will feature a varied programme of keynote presentations from international speakers including Practice Leaders, experts by experience, professionals and academics, exploring how we build capacity within services, put good PBS into practice and lay the foundations for change.
There will also be a range of workshops available to attend, giving delegates tools and ideas to put into practice. The workshops will also provide opportunities for debate, conversation and networking.
The conference will be of interest to practitioners in health, social care and education settings looking to improve their own practice and drive change within their organisation. People with lived experience are warmly welcomed.
