Calling all family carers! Help improve the life of the person you support with our free BTEC Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support

Are you a family carer? Do you want to help improve the life of the person you support?

Would you like to gain a certified BTEC Qualification at the same time?

If you answer yes to the above questions, look no further as we’re delighted to support family carers free places to undertake and complete our BTEC Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support! The free spaces are funded by NHS Covid Recovery Learning Disability & Autism Fund.

We recognise that family carers are integral to ensuring that our loved ones are supported to live their best life. Are you interested in the BTEC Certificate but worried that you don’t have the time?

Bild is committed to ensuring family carers have access to positive and accessible learning, that is underpinned by flexible access to course content online, through reading materials and webinars. Learners will also be supported by a dedicated tutor who will facilitate small online group tutorials and provide 1:1 support if needed.

The course, which involves approximately 150 learning hours and will take six months to complete, covers three mandatory units: Understanding behaviours that challenge and the role of positive Behaviour Support, Developing capable environments and Supporting functional assessment and intervention.

And on completion of the course, you will receive a level 4 BTEC qualification!

Please note there will be an early evening induction and the date will be shared once the application process has been finalised.
