Bild to host virtual sessions at the Association for Positive Behaviour Support (APBS) international conference in April

On April 14^th, the Association for Positive Behaviour Support’s international conference will see Bild and our European APBS colleagues host a session on day two of the European Virtual Strand themed School-wide PBS Support in UK Schools.

The session will run between 3-6pm (Central European Summer Time).

Presenters will include Professor Edwin Jones – Bild’s PBS Strategic Lead, Sarah Leitch, Director of Development for Bild and the Restraint Reduction Network and Reshmi Copperthwaite, Bild PBS consultant. In addition, they will be joined by Joke Kamstra and Professor Sui Lin Goei of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.

Virtual sessions on day two will include exploring the findings of recent pilot programmes, UK lessons learned, training for schools and experience of PBS and school-wide positive behaviour support (SWPBS) in schools.

The 19th International Conference on Positive Behavior Support will run from April 13-16, with in-person sessions taking place in San Diego, California. The conference will feature over 100 oral presentations, posters, pre-conference and skill-building workshops highlighting empirical findings, assessment and intervention methods, current topics, and other aspects of Positive Behavior Support.
