Free family carer webinar – Tuesday 5th April! Discussing the link between behaviours of concern and communication, alongside the role of Communication Passports

Are you a family carer? Join us this Tuesday (5th April 2022) for a free webinar to discuss the link between behaviours of concern and communication, alongside the role of Communication Passports.

The Communication Passport gives a voice to the voiceless, and enables those being supported and those providing support to have a two-way conversation that leads to a happy and positive relationship. The Passport is a powerful support tool for staff, giving them confidence and job satisfaction that they are doing their best for the person they support.

Book now!

This free webinar will take place on Tuesday April 5th 2022, 12.30 to 1.30pm (including time for Q&A) online via Zoom and will be hosted by:

  • Kate Sanger – Family Carer, Co-creator of Communication Passport and Trustee of Positive and Active Behaviour Support Scotland (PABSS)
  • Professor Edwin Jones – PBS Lead for Bild

Kate will provide advice by sharing information alongside offering personal and professional insights that can be used in practice. The focus of the webinar will be on practical things carers can do at home and where to get more information.
